For a couple of weeks, I would slather this refreshing looking jelly before heading to bed - For Beloved One Delight Fresh Night Jelly.

This jelly is very light and refreshing. After leaving it on for the night, my skin appears hydrated and slightly brighter than before. However, when I used it two days in a row on my sensitive skin, one or two more red spots popped up on my cheeks as if I’ve over-used it. This is the same reaction I get when I use strong exfoliants on consecutive days.

VERDICT

The gel leaves my skin clearer and glowing the next day. A very gentle exfoliator, I believe it is a good substitute of abrasive scrubs. This is a very convenient treatment for those of us who loathe having to include one more beauty step in our skincare regime. I admit that there are weeks when I forget to scrub my skin. Its moisturise-as-I-sleep concept is a plus for me as it unclogs pores, removes skin dulling dead skin cells and hydrates my skin at the same time.

Recommends a representative of For Beloved One, the Night Jelly soothes skin while controlling excess sebum secretion, but it can’t replace target acne treatments, especially for serious acne condition.

To treat acne, use dermatologist-prescribed anti-acne gel for spot treatment during the day and, soothe skin and hydrate skin with For Beloved One Delight Fresh Night Jelly two to three times a week as anti-acne gels can be very drying. Another benefit of the jelly is that it controls skin’s overall oil balance to reduce clogged pores and acne formation. Give it about a minimum of one week to reduce the inflammation and the size of pimple, and at least another week for it to completely go away.
