Where to go in
Korea to Look Better?
Once in a while I’ve been asked which plastic surgeon to
approach in Korea for beauty enhancement services. While I do not advocate going under the knife to enhance one’s looks, I’d like to share about one that Korean celebrities are known to approach - Grand Plastic Surgery.
Who Are
Celebrities Who Did It?
Dr Rhee Se Whan, who has over 15 years of experience in
the field of cosmetic surgery revealed that, “The number of Singaporeans
traveling to South Korea for beauty treatments has tripled since 2013.” Even would-be
celebrities are said to start enhancing their features BEFORE embarking on
their career at a renowned plastic surgery hospital. Among the many plastic surgery
clinics dotting around South Korea is Grand Plastic Surgery, which counts
Korean celebrities like Shin-ee of What
Happened in Bali fame, middle age actress Kim Chung who starred in various
SBS productions and Han Song Yee, known for her role in Love and War.

less obvious due to the covering of malar bones. Also, it is not recommended
for those who have long face with protruding malar as malar reduction would
make only make one’s face even longer.

What are the
follow up options for patients from distant countries:
3 months to a year followup with doctor is recommended via
Skype. Foreign patients will receive a surgical note on what is done before
being discharged from the hospital. To make it easier for its patients, Grand
