I applied Beautybiotics BB/CC Cream the way celebrity makeup artist Clarence Lee demonstrated on the model at the launch of #BeautyBiotics. (Please see the video below). I was amazed by how easy it is to smooth it on. It minimises the obvious pores on my cheeks and leaves my skin flawless. Upon removal with a makeup remover, my bare skin appears more refined that before I used the #BB/CCCream.

BB+ Nano Luminescence Mineral Pearl Powder

UV White Nano Mineral Powder

Just as we should reapply sun filter after every few hours of being out in the sun, this white powder eases UV re-application without requiring reapplication of the BB/CC Cream. Simply dust over the Mineral Pearl Powder every few hours, concentrating on cheek bones which get the most exposure to the sun. It leaves a slight sheen on the skin after application and the cute mini-sponge applicator eases application.

Whenever I use a BB/CC Cream, I find that I tend to use a thick layer of BB/CC Cream in my bid to achieve a flawless complexion by covering my freckles and uneven skin tone. Hence when cleansing my skin, double cleansing and regular use of an exfoliator helps to ensure skin is thoroughly cleansed and prevent clogs. It’s a good thing that BeautyBiotics’ cleansing essentials include a non-abrasive exfoliator for sensitive skin like mine.

Exfoliating Jelly

This gentle exfoliator sloughs off rough skin and unclog pores with enzymes. Simply smooth the jelly over the skin and massage in circular motion until transforms from a watery fluid texture and tiny rough bits starts to form. During the massage, tiny bits of dead skin and dirt are rubbed off.

Collagen Cleanse

The cleanser is stored in the container in the form of granules, which prolongs the efficacy of the ingredients. It emulsifies easily upon contact with water. Simply pour a small portion into the centre of the palm and add some water and rubbing hands together to create foam. The fragrance of this cleanser reminds me of my childhood comfort food—raspberry jelly. Most products with collagen ingredient are gentle and do not strip skin of essential moisture as they cleanse.
