SHOP/REVIEW Brighten up the Face with lovely shades from Make Up Store

One of my favourite makeup brands is Make Up Store. The most colours have a longwearing finish, which is a must for my oily lids and dry cheeks. In the past months, I’ve been having fun with a few products from their last launch. Here are three products that I find easy to use and practical and enhance my features:

Make Up Store Eyepencil Duo in BLUE PIGMENT, $27

An all-new long-lasting Eye Pencil Duo with 2 shades, Blue Pigment is a pencil with two shades, both light and dark blue. Depending on the angle you hold the pencil, you can have two different shades of matt blue on your eye in just one stroke–by applying the tip of the eye pencil almost vertically. Extremely easy for inner and outer line application with just one glide. Alternatively, tilt the eye pencil to apply on the side of the tip for your preferred shade. Blend for a softer look using an Eyeliner Blending Brush for best effect.

REVIEW

I love this eye pencil for the sexy soft look it gives my eyes. What more, tilting the pencil at various angles will give me different intensity of blue. The pencil is easy to use and great only on upper eye lid. Smudge the blue penciled in line a little with your ring finger to achieve a soft finish. For oily eye lids, avoid using under the eye as the colour slides off easily. Bring a cotton bud to clean under-eye smudges, if needed.

Make Up Store Duo Lipstick in GRAPHIC, $29

Nourish your dry lips with shea butter and avocado oil while giving them a touch of longlasting colour. This new DUO lipstick in Graphic is a soft pink duo lipstick with a nude colour in the core. These two shades give an instant 3D finish to the lips.

REVIEW

At last a lipstick that offers longlasting lip colour without leaving lips tight and dry. I took a sip of water while wearing this lip colour and found that the lip stain on the cup is less than my regular lipstick.

Make Up Store Marble Blush in ROSSO VERONA & RITSONA RED, $32 each

Featuring a sensational combination of bright pink, red and purple tones to create multi-toned blush that offers a beautiful blend of intense cheek colour.

REVIEW

My other favourite from Make Up Store is this blush that gives my cheeks a three dimensional finish. The blusher lasts through the day, leaving me with healthy pink cheeks even when I am feeling low. A little goes a long way, so dust off excess powder onto a tissue before accentuating cheeks with it.
